In The City [VINYL] I've still got the vinyl somewhere from when this first came out, but recently got this on CD as a) it was v cheap and b) it offered the instant rip facility as well, so I could get all the tracks onto my hard drive and phone in minutes. I was into the 60's at the time, so The Jam never appealed to me, I was on the /5().

They were like The Who, The Kinks, and The Small Faces before them, primarily a band of working-class sensibilities. 9. The first album by the Jam is fantastic. A combination of mod and punk that was classic. The album is stronger than the second as far as their mod punk efforts go (they got a little more cerebral in their later efforts as in less punk more rock), but not by much/5().
